About me

I hold a Law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (2011), a Master in Law, Science and Technology from Stanford Law School (2017) and a Master in Business Administration, with a major on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, from the Rotman School of Management from the University of Toronto (2022).

I’ve worked in digital projects in local government and in the nonprofit sector. Between 2011 and 2012, I was a Cabinet Advisor on Digital Government to the Mayor of Miraflores, a central district in Lima. After that, I founded the digital rights nonprofit Hiperderecho in Peru and served as its Executive Director between 2013 and 2021. I currently work for the Mozilla Foundation, the not-for-profit behind Firefox that stands for a better web. 🙂

I’ve also taught classes on law and technology, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels, at some of the best law and business schools in Perú. A full list of the classes I’ve taught can be seen here.

I’m currently one of the chapter leads of Legal Hackers Lima and Creative Commons Peru.

I was born in Trujillo, Peru, and currently live in Toronto, Canada. 🇨🇦
